Two parents map to a unique offspring species under the game breeding rules (with gender constraints where applicable). PalAtlas looks up that mapping in a full local matrix instead of guessing online.
Normal pairs generally start with a target breeding power: (parent A power + parent B power) ÷ 2, then match the nearest breedable species under the rules. PalAtlas queries a verified complete matrix at runtime so boundaries, exceptions, and special pairs remain covered.
Most pairs do not depend on gender. Some special combinations require one male and one female, and the offspring may change with parent gender. If genders do not satisfy a rule, the calculator reports an error instead of a wrong species.
Breeding power is an intrinsic Pal attribute used when planning lines. The result panel shows the offspring breeding power for easy comparison.
The offspring species is deterministic. Passive skills and individual values inherit by probability in-game. The tool never presents random inheritance as a fixed result. Use external guides for passive chaining—not this species calculator.
