1.0 is not a small patch: breeding-related values and many recipes for returning Pals were revised. Charts frozen on early-access data can return the wrong child.
Why old calculators are wrong
Target powers and the breedable set were overhauled. “Fixed recipes” may now point at different species, or tower/legend pals may be same-species only. Cross-check with a labeled 1.0 full matrix.
Reproducible examples
Normal pair: Penking + Bushi → Sibelyx (order-independent). Gender pair: female Katress + male Wixen → Katress Ignis; reverse genders → Wixen Noct.
Same-species limits and reverse search
Some tower and legendary pals only keep same×same. If reverse search shows a single self pair, that is usually the rule—not a tool bug. See the tower breeding page.

1.0 new systems at a glance
The full release did more than rework breeding: it added the floating endgame region Sunreach and the World Tree, the Awakening system, Surgery Table passive rework, expanded weapon slots and accessories, plus new spheres and new cakes. See the related links for each system.
