Short answer: raids test three things — elemental matchups, passive quality and star level. Pick types from the chart, source each Pal with reverse search, then train four passives.

How 1.0 raids work

Raids in 1.0 run in waves: clear one, the next arrives. Pressure lands on sustain and passive quality — your team must fight a long battle, not one burst.

Pick types with the chart

Use the type chart to set attacker and tank elements — matchups are data, not folklore. Maximizing super-effective coverage beats raw levels.

Lineup regulars

High-power Pals anchor raid lineups: Jetragon, Shadowbeak, Blazamut, Astegon and friends — acquisition paths live on their how-to-breed pages. Legendary passives can be bred into common Pals.

Passives and stars

Fill four passive slots across offense, survivability and mobility; raise stars by condensing same-species Pals. Lock the species first — do not over-invest in probability before that.

Wipe post-mortem

After each wipe, decide whether the problem was a bad matchup or passive gap: swap Pals via reverse search for matchups, patch passives via surgery or breeding on the build pages.
